We’re pleased to share that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has once again bestowed it’s highest rating on our plans—5 out of 5 stars—for the 2023 plan year.
You play a key role in contributing to our overall star rating. And we remain committed to collaborating closely with you to support patient access and health in a variety of ways, including through enhanced provider tools and quality initiatives that can assist in the timely delivery of high-quality care. Every year, Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating system. Ratings are for Peoples Health contract number H1961, which includes our HMO-POS plans for 2023. Our 5-star rating affords us the added advantage of enrolling members in these plans throughout most of 2023. Louisiana Medicare beneficiaries can make a one-time switch to a 5-star Peoples Health plan through a 5-star special enrollment period, beginning Dec. 8 of this year through Nov. 30, 2023.
