Effective April 1, 2022, we increased the visit allowance and date span for approved initial outpatient therapy requests for your Peoples Health patients as follows:

This allows double the number of visits in nearly twice the amount of time as our former approval parameters.
As of April 1, requests for outpatient therapy services are auto-approved for the new parameters when submitted through the Provider Portal with the following:
- The criteria of 12 visits within 30 days
- A signed physician order
- Supporting clinical documentation
Our goal is to support your efforts to provide timely care to your Peoples Health patients, reduce administrative burden for you and your staff, and improve patient access.
Contact your office administrator if you do not have portal access. If your office has not designated an administrator, visit the portal and follow the on-screen prompts to register for an account. A Peoples Health representative will contact you to complete the account setup.
