The Office of Minority Health, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and other agencies within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services have identified and compiled translated resources and materials to assist Medicare providers in offering culturally and linguistically appropriate services to patients. Most of the materials are available in a variety of non-English languages, including Spanish, French and Vietnamese. Topics include general information on Medicare and Medicaid, emergency preparedness, diseases and health conditions, data and statistics, environmental health, and healthy living, among many others. The information is available in a variety of formats for office staff use, including to share with patients.
