We’re actively surveying Peoples Health plan members within a month following a visit with their primary care provider (PCP). The survey is conducted by a third-party vendor we’re working with and uses similar questions to those in CMS’ annual surveys, the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems and the Heath Outcomes Survey. There are a total of 10 questions in four categories focusing on members’ perceptions around:

1. Getting Needed Care

  • Ease of scheduling appointments
  • Ease of seeing PCP and specialists
  • In-office wait times

2. Care Coordination

  • PCP informed about any specialist care
  • PCP reviewed medications
  • PCP followed up after any tests

3.Getting Needed Prescriptions

  • Ease of getting covered prescriptions

4. PCP Conversations

  • Falls
  • Bladder control
  • Exercise
